Fleur et Rosée was founded in 2014 by two sisters I-Chia Ou and Annie Ou after they left the UK to pursue their life-long dream of creating their own "glass slippers". I-Chia was a London-based footwear and graphic designer from Cordwainers, London College of Fashion and Central St. Martins of University of Arts London. Her graduation collection, Step into the Cities, received great response, and was featured in the book Shoes: Fashion and Desire published by Monsa in 2011, the seed of creating her own brand was then planted. For two years she worked with several European brands while Annie studied for MSc in Marketing & Management at University of Sheffield.

The brand's name "Fleur et Rosée" is "Flower and Dew" in French. Flowers look most beautiful with dews on their petals, pure , fresh , fully of life. We aspire to be to women like dews to flowers: enhance their natural beauty and self-confidence, and when the sun comes out, make them shine.
